This four Star Resort is situated in the midst of rolling countryside and Rice Fields which at harvest time resemble a vast sea of gold waving in the breeze!The city of ChiangRai is only 15 km away and the International Airport is just 8 km in the same direction which requires only a 10 minute drive as there is littleor no traffic to cause hindrance. In fact the Resort is built on the site of what was a small village which was famous for it s succulent Pineapples and these are still grown in this district which is known as Nanglae

Facilities The resort is an ideal ‘retreat’ for Seminars, Conferences and Meetings as well as for Weddings and Receptions of all kinds. Up to eighty participants or guests can be comfortably accommodated in a large hall where the only distraction might be the wonderful views of the Lanna Countryside through the windows. The Golden Pine Resort consists of 80 beautifully designed cottages located in the heart of the Lanna countryside. The site was previously a rural village and is surrounded by Rice Fields on either side. Excursions A variety of half and full day Excursion Tours are available which can be booked at the Resort. These include a visit to the Golden Triangle which in former days was well known for its Poppy cultivation and Opium Manufacture. The busy border town of Mae Sai is also very interesting with its multitude of colourful goods on sale. A visit to the Mekong Delta which includes an exhilarating boat ride is also an event to be enjoyed by all. A most agreeable evening diversion is to visit the Night Bazaar at ChiangRai when all manner of Hill Tribe handicrafts are on display and for sale as souvenirs. Longer tripe to Thailand’s second City of ChiangMai are also available and much much more besides! It is simply a mater of ‘time and inclination’ as the possibilities for side trips are endless!
